While the search warrant was being completed, Barnett showed back up after bonding of jail and was re-arrested on state possession of child pornography charges.

On November 9, 2006, a federal complaint was filed and Barnett was arrested and has been detained. A forensic examination of the seized computer located over 600 images of child pornography.
