United States Attorney Joe W. Stecher, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation announce the following information for the attention of the media:

Event Triggering this Release: 

On March 28,2008 Jermaine Hickman and Deandre Bradley were sentenced to imprisonment of 114 months and 117 months respectively by the Honorable Lyle E. Strom, United States District Court Judge, following their convictions for armed credit union robbery.  Both were ordered to serve five years of supervised release following their release from incarceration, and to pay $11,071.00 in restitution.

On April 7, 2007, Hickman, Bradley and another individual committed an armed robbery at the Union Pacific Connection Federal Credit Union at 6707 Grover Street, Omaha, Nebraska.  Hickman and another individual entered the credit union brandishing firearms, demanding and receiving approximately $11,071.00 from its employees.  Bradley’s role in the robbery was that of the “wheel man” or get away driver.  Hickman and Bradley were apprehended shortly after the bank robbery and much of the stolen credit union money was recovered.  The investigation is ongoing regarding the third participant in the robbery.
