Muscatine Man Sentenced on Child Pornography Charges

Davenport, IA- On August 9, 2007, Donald W. Bain, Jr., 47, of Muscatine, was sentenced to 210 months imprisonment for one count of Receiving and Distributing Child Pornography, and to 120 months imprisonment for one count of Possessing Child Pornography, with the terms of imprisonment to be served concurrently, announced United States Attorney Matthew G. Whitaker. United States District Judge John A. Jarvey also ordered Bain to serve a 10 years term of supervised release following his incarceration, and to pay a $100 special assessment to the Crime Victims’ Fund.

This case was prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Iowa. This investigation was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
